Read in the new packet, "The Color Line in the era of Segregation," pp. 1-5. Answer p. 8, #1-2, on a separate page.

You should have ALREADY turned in the Reconstruction homework and the buddy letters to the in-basket (they were due today).

Read, highlight, and answer the questions about Reconstruction in the worksheet given to you in class. The last part will require a little research and answering the question on a separate paper. U.S. Grant is the key.

Also, please write a letter/s to your buddy/ies.

The in-class essay has turned into a take-home essay. Please bring in a typed, double-spaced version of your essay. We will have instructional class tomorrow instead.

Write up the parent letter about the research paper.

Have the LA conversation with your parent. See the email I sent to you attached to  your graded research paper.

ALSO, WORK ON PREPPING YOUR IN-CLASS ESSAY FOR THURSDAY, 5/5.
