The final, marked draft and another clean copy, as well as your rough draft and checklist, are due Tuesday, May 23.

Sorry about the blog this past week...Homework for Tuesday, 5/17 (due Wed.)

1. Don't forget your research paper/final draft due Tuesday, May 23. Turn in rough draft with completed checklist, along with one marked final copy and one clean final copy (for posting).

Don't forget the checklist...I made copies of them and put them in your desks.

2. Tonight: Do two immigrant letters...one written by you in your own hand, which you should bring in tomorrow. The other should be passed on to a NY voter. Make sure they include a return address. You may copy the letter provided or write your own.

3. Tonight: Also do the very difficult pages in the Essentials, pp. 129-133.

NO RE tomorrow....we will have another film, this time about "boom and bust..."

Rough Draft of Research Paper -- beginning to end! Include a simple cover page, all three chapters with transitions (don't forget your research question), and the corrected bibliography. Please read it over yourself and make corrections (even handwritten) before passing it in.

Work on introductions/transitions that come before you write Chapter Two. You should provide some sort of overview to your paper.
