Homework due Thursday, 5/8

Finish writing Ch. 2. Bring it in in electronic format and immediately get it on the network. We have a festive eucharist tomorrow, so come in at 8:20 if you have the 11:30 class. You'll need to show it to me on the laptop during class. It will be a work period for continuing with the writing for Ch.3 and getting assistance from me about citing sources and writing properly. Use the time well.

PLEASE NOTE: There may be someone taking pictures for the school website.

You may NOT use ipods or listen to music tomorrow. The priority is writing and writing only. Do not waste time on anything else.

Also, all library and classroom books must be returned tomorrow. Any late or unreturned books will lower your research paper grade. During class, make sure you have added any books you will use on your paper to your biblography. These books will be returned to the library on Friday. All books cited in your paper must also be in the bibliography, and you must have a minimum of 20 sources there, 15 of them books.

BRING YOUR AIDS WALK PERMISSION FORM AND BEGIN PERSONALIZING YOUR PAGE AND FUNDRAISING. THE AIDS WALK IS JUST A WEEK AND A HALF AWAY.

Homework due Friday, 5/2, and Monday, 5/6

No social studies work is due Friday -- unless you need to turn in note cards (all of them) with the outline -- deadline extended. Ch. 1 was due on Thursday.

For Friday, you should have a completed script for English. Make it good!

For Monday, write the introduction for your research paper. It could be one paragraph, or several, depending on whether you write something before Ch. 1 and then a transition between Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 which introduces the rest of the paper, previewing Ch. 3 as well. Or you could just write something as a transition after Ch. 1. Up to you.
